Life, Spirit, and You (Book)

Gail J. Chiasson, senior administrative assistant at Berkeley Divinity School

This book — intended to be inspirational, motivational, and holistic — strives to create a sense of camaraderie among women in order to help relieve the feelings of loneliness, isolation, prejudice, and unfairness they may experience in personal and professional situations.

The author contends that “we are all in life together and need to feel that we are not alone.” “Life, Spirit, and You” contains short stories that can be read on the bus, train, or at the airport. Following most of the chapters, the author provides an area for personal notes. Readers are encouraged to reflect on how they reacted or dealt with a situation depicted in the book.
